Set Up Sykafy AI on Your Website in 5 Minutes
A step-by-step tutorial showing exactly how to connect your website to Sykafy AI and embed the chat widget — from sign-up to live in under five minutes.
Why customisation matters
A chat widget that looks out of place undermines trust. If the colours clash with your brand or the tone sounds robotic, visitors are less likely to engage. Sykafy AI gives you full control over the look and feel of your assistant so it becomes a seamless part of your site.
Brand colours and avatar
In your dashboard, navigate to Widget → Appearance. You can set the primary colour to match your brand hex code, upload a custom avatar icon, and choose between a bubble launcher and an inline embed layout.
Naming your assistant
Give your assistant a name that fits your brand voice. Some companies use a friendly first name ("Aria", "Max"), others use their product name. The assistant name appears in the chat header and in the greeting message.
Setting the tone
Under Widget → Tone, you can choose from Friendly, Professional, or Concise presets — or write custom instructions to define exactly how your assistant should communicate. For example: "Always refer to the user as a valued customer. Keep answers under three sentences."
Welcome message
The welcome message is the first thing visitors see when they open the chat. Make it specific and helpful: instead of "Hi, how can I help?", try "Hi! Ask me anything about our plans, features, or how to get started." Specific prompts get more engagement.
